▶Play Store FAQ

Will the app be released immediately when I apply for Play Store uploads to the Swing2App?

We will upload the app to the Play Store on behalf of Swing2App.

It will not be released immediately, but will be reviewed by Google Apps.

Google app screening takes an average of one week.  Therefore, uploading does not mean that your app will be released immediately.

If there are no issues after the review, it will be released to the Store within 7 days after screening period.

How long does the Play Store app screening(review) takes?

The PlayStore screening period takes an average of one week. (within 7 days) If there are no issues with the review, it will be released immediately, but if the Play Store review is rejected, the release date may be delayed.

When uploading to the Store, you’ll see a message that the existing version or package is the same.

This message is displayed if you try to upload the APK file with the same version as the already registered version.

When uploading a newly updated app, make sure that it is different from the previously uploaded version, and upload the APK file created with the new version.

How to register keywords when registering a Play Store?

The Google Play Store Market Upload Properties does not require a keyword entry, unlike Apple.
Instead, Google creates keywords through indexing based on your other information.
So, market upload properties are very important.
Here are some simple Android Market upload registration tips.

How to create a Play Store Google Developer account?

*How to register Play Store Developer account
1. Sign up for Google. (If you have an existing subscription, you do not need to sign up separately.)
2. Access the Developer Console site https://play.google.com/apps/publish/
3. Pay $25 for a lifetime pass to register a developer.

When you create a developer account, you can upload your own app, without having to purchase a market upload ticket for Swing2App. The advantage is that you can modify it from time to time and update it with a new version of the app. You can also view app installs and statistics while managing your own apps.

What should be done if the Play Store app is rejected?

If you have been denied a review of the Play Store app, you will need to check the email from Google for the reason for the rejection.

There are many reasons for identity theft, copyright infringement, etc.

Make sure your app name isn’t similar to other apps that are already listed in the market, that the screenshot image isn’t copyrighted, and that you haven’t imported someone else’s website and used it. (Please check the problem and fix it)

Correct the problem in question and re-register again.

Since the review has been rejected, you can re-register the contents by modifying them and making them available for release.

What should be done if a well registered app on the Play Store is deleted?

Unlike the App Store, the Play Store is not difficult to review.
So it’s not difficult to launch an app on the Play Store.

However, Play Store periodically re-examines the currently running app
In this case, the app that was initially registered may be suspended for policy violations or violations of regulations, as the app contents are examined in great detail.

An app that has been suspended can be re-registered after fixing the problematic item.

*However, the app may be deleted altogether.
In this case, you will not be able to reload your existing app, and you will need to re-register as a new app (change app name, change package).

What should be done if your Play Store account is deleted?

If you violate the regulations several times, Google will delete your account without notice.

** Deleted app accounts can resolve the issue by sending an appeal to Google.

However, if you are certain that the policy has been violated, it is difficult to restore it.

If the account is not restored, you can create a Google developer account again and register a new app. Since it is a new account, it cannot be linked with existing apps, and existing apps cannot be managed.

Therefore, you must keep Google’s policies and regulations in place to ensure that your account is not deleted.to not only delete your app, but also delete your account.

How to update an app released in the Play Store?

If you would like to update your app to the Play Store, please resubmit your upload to Swing2App.
Please purchase a Play Store upload request ticket ($5 per request) and reapply for upload.

However, Play Store has all the developer accounts of the user, so you can update them yourself. You don’t have to buy an upload ticket if you do it yourself, and you can update it from time to time.

Updating a new version of your app to the Play Store is easy.
-Login to the Google Developer Console site and register a new version of the app in the APK menu.
-Then it is automatically updated to the new version after the 3-4 hour review period.

*Store registration information can also be edited.
Uploaded to the store – When you change the app description, screenshot image, category, etc., the Submit Update button at the top is activated.
Unlike uploading APK files, if you edit the store settings, the update will be processed only by pressing the corresponding button.
